IMT Africa is committed to equipping Christians across the continent to live out their faith in everyday life, especially in the workplace. We develop resources that speak to the African context, helping believers see their daily work, whether in business, farming, teaching, or public service, as part of God’s Kingdom mission. Our goal is to empower individuals to integrate their faith and work with purpose and boldness, not just on Sundays, but throughout the entire week.
In many parts of Africa, Christians often feel that their daily work is unrelated to what they believe is “God’s work.” For some, true ministry is seen as belonging only to pastors, missionaries, and those in church or nonprofit roles. At best, they see their own jobs as a way to earn money to support these ministries, provided they work with integrity and occasionally share their faith. The actual work they do, whether farming, teaching, running a business, or practicing law, is often viewed as purely secular and less significant to God.
At IMT Africa, we challenge this thinking by teaching that God deeply values the work we do. When done with faith and excellence, our daily tasks are part of His mission and are just as sacred as preaching or leading worship. This understanding is bringing new purpose and joy to Christians across the continent and is expanding God’s Kingdom in practical and powerful ways.

Our Doing God’s Business video series is designed for small groups, helping communities grow together in integrating faith and work. We also feature books written by Dr. Paul Stevens and others on Marketplace Ministry, as well as blog posts with real-life reflections and insights from believers across various industries.
